Spring is a wonderfully bountiful time of the year in New England. One of our favorite local ingredients to use in beer is spruce tips, fresh new branch tips that pack a punch of resiny, citrusy aroma and flavor. We peppered in a healthy amount of spruce to a West Coast-style American IPA laden with Centennial and Michigan Chinook hops and fermented with Ebbegarden Kveik yeast supplied by our friend Ryan Walsh. The result is a unique blend of pine, citrus, bright tropical fruits and resin that has to be tasted to be truly understood. Very limited and very tasty. 7.2% abv
